The Government has messed up massively with our private data and it's time we the people took action.
If you're as angry as I am about this outrage, can I suggest the following actions:
1. Contact your MP and tell him or her how you feel.
2. Demand the resignation of the Chancellor Alastair Darling the minister ultimately responsible for this.
3. Get informed on the facts here and here.
4. Oppose the government's hair-brained scheme to set up a national identity card. Whatever your views on this as a civil liberties issue, you must surely agree that the government simply isn't up to the job at a practical level.
