It was obvious for most of 2007 that Intel would feel threatened by the XO $100 laptop - reported on previously in this blog here. David Kirkpatrick, senior Editor of Fortune magazine has explained why they were threatened back in the April edition.
Frankly, I'm disappointed with Intel and have emailed them to tell them so. Why not do the same?
It seems like yet another case of commercial interest - no, let's call it by it's proper name, greed - triumphing over an opportunity to do something major and transforming for millions of children.
