HIV Infection at Guantanmo Bay

RNIF independent media is quoting US Attorney H. Candace Gorman as claiming that her client Abdul Hamid Al-Ghizzawi has been infected with the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) at the Guantanamo Bay Detention Centre. Al Ghizzawi apparently believes the infection occurred in 2004 at Guantanamo when a routine blood test was mal-administered, causing alarm among American medial staff at the time.

Gorman has subsequently filed an emergency application with the US Supreme Court requesting the release to her of her client's medical records, a request denied by Chief Judge Roberts.
