With subscriptions to several hundred RSS feeds which I access through Google Reader, Freedly, which turns these feeds into a magazine-style page, looks excellent.

Hi! Thanks for your video about Freely.
I have never used RSS to follow blogs or web pages. I am considering to used it now (Google reader) but I do not want to open a google account for following blogs.
Does Freedly need an user account?

You can access Freedly via your google account if you have one, or open a new Freedly account.
Fredly syncs with your google reader feeds in a very smooth and useful way.
