Having realised how much slower this blog is to load when I embed videos in it, I have tried to avoid doing so in recent months.
Every so often however, a mere link to an exciting video just won't suffice.

Awesome. I'm glad Jackson took the chair. Though not as good as the books his interpretation was about as good as you can hope for.
I don't think the other guy...Del Toro? I can't recall....I don't think he would have been as good. I had a bad feeling he would have turned it into a horror movie.
I wish these movies had been out when I was kid! All we had were the Rankin-Bass cartoons with their nice 70's inspired soundtracks.
Oh I'll admit it...I kind of like them. My kids sure do.
